Negotiations take place to reach an agreement in the Khan al-Shih and regime forces continue targeting the town

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by several reliable sources, that negotiations are taking place between the authorities of the regime and the notables of Khan al-Shih town in the Western Ghouta, where the notables are trying to mediate between the authorities of the regime and the factions of Khan al-Shih, in order to reach a “reconciliation” agreement to end the military operations in the town, the sources confirmed to the observatory that the notables are mediating in order to reach an agreement like the agreements of Darayya, Muadamiyat al-Sham and the suburbs of the capital Damascus, the town is witnessing intense bombardment by the regime forces and helicopters since yesterday, in conjunction with clashes in the vicinity and outskirts of town between the rebel and Islamic factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where the last mentioned are trying in every new attack they carry out to clamp down on the town and its inhabitants, in order to reach more quickly an agreement that ends the military operations in the town.
