Intense Russian raids force the “Islamic State” in Palmyra city to withdraw to its surroundings after hours of controlling the city

Russian warplanes continued the intense and violent bombing, they carried out tens of raids since yesterday night and until after the midnight on areas in Palmyra city after the “Islamic State” controlled it almost entirely overnight, where the regime forces are bringing huge military reinforcements to the south of the city and to its western perimeter, the Syrian Observatory was informed that members of organization withdrew to the orchards of the city due to the intense aerial and missile bombing on the city, and to al-Wadi al-Ahmar area and Jabal al-Tar, while warplanes carried out intensive raids after midnight yesterday and until the dawn today on areas in the vicinity Ameriyah suburb north of Palmyra, Jabal al-Tar northwest of Palmyra, al-Wadi al-Ahmar, granaries northeast of Palmyra, Jabal Hayyan and its surroundings southwest of the city in addition to the fields of al-Mohr, Jazl and Jahar, which killed and injured members in the ranks of the organization as a result of the intensive strikes.
