The popular discontent increases in Madaya and warnings to Hezbollah and the regime of not-completing the agreement of getting 1500 people out of the city in exchange for an equal number of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya

Resentment continues to increase in Madaya city in Rif Dimashq, because Hezbollah who besieges the city prevented the committee of the city’s residents (who live out of it which was chosen to negotiate with them) from entering the city and see the reality of its situation, as well as preventing the internal committee within Madaya city from getting out and meeting this committee, which raised the pace of resentment among the people of the city, where the people warned Hezbollah and the regime of not carrying out the agreement and preventing the exit of any person on board of buses, unless they give full guarantees for those who will remain inside the city after the exit of 1500 people out of it in exchange for the exit of similar number of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northeastern countryside of Idlib, and that preventing the meeting of both committees is nothing but a sign that no guarantees will be presented to those who will remain inside the city.

It is worth mentioning that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that dissatisfaction is taking over civilians in Madaya city which is under siege by regime forces and Hezbollah, after preparations to transport 1500 medical cases from the city into other areas to retrieve treatment.

In the Details, Ahrar al-Sham Islamic movement which contains a large number of militants from the town, is taking control on the process as it is chooses the names of civilians who will leave the city, confirmed reports that al-Fateh army contacted Ahrar al-Sham in Madaya and asked to put the fighters names in order to transport 600-650 fighters 200 of them from Fateh al-Sham and 300 from Ahrar al-Sham while the others belong to other factions, as these numbers will be included in the 1500 that supposed to leave the city, in addition to 25 medical cases so far.

The sources confirmed to SOHR that the civilians of Madaya are taking this operation as the last one, as they hear about transporting rebels from the city to settle their situations, while others are wanted for the military service and civilians who don’t want to stay in the city and don’t want any settlement with the regime, as they take it as an international agreement taking under the table, to leave Madaya for later fate and negotiations on Kafria and al-Foua.

While those in charge of Madaya city were just informed that they should prepare a list of 1500 people to get them out of the city and transfer to other areas so they can receive and treatment and to get out of the besieged city by Hezbollah and the regime forces, the sources confirmed to the Observatory that the process of transferring the 1500 people will take place during the next three days, and about 26 “green buses” are prepared to transfer civilians from the besieged Madaya.

The city is witnessing strict siege by regime forces and Hezbollah, 40,000 including 20,000 migrants from Zabdani which witnessed massive bombardment and violent clashes led to the death of dozens and displaced thousands.

Also those in charge of Madaya city were informed that they should prepare a list of 1500 people to get them out of the city and to transferred to other areas so they can receive treatment and to get out of the besieged city by Hezbollah and the regime forces, the sources confirmed to the Observatory that the process of transferring the 1500 people will take place during the next three days, and about 26 “green buses” are prepared to transfer civilians out of the besieged Madaya.

The besieged city of Madaya is witnessing since mid-2015 a tough besiege carried out by the regime forces and Hezbollah on the city which is inhabited by about 40 thousand people, including about 20 thousand displaced people coming from the city of Zabadani, which saw violent clashes and intensified shelling with thousands of missiles, rockets and barrel bombs by the regime forces and warplanes, and from other areas adjacent to Madaya and Zabadani, also tens of people of the city were killed and injured in landmines, shells and snipers of factions and forces of the Lebanese Hezbollah, and as a result of the hunger and lack of medicine and food, and the difficult humanitarian situation in the city.
