Continuous clashes west of Rif Dimashq and in Palmyra’s desert

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Violent clashes are taking place in several areas in the west of Rif Dimashq between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions and members of Fateh al-Sham Front, after an extended attack carried out by the last mentioned since the dawn of today in areas west of Sasa and the farms of the towns of Maghr al-Meer and Beit Jann and al-Maqrusah village, where they managed to advance and control points and farms west of Sasa, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting that killed and injured a number of the regime forces, as well as the fighters.

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against members of the “Islamic State” organization in several areas at the desert of Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs, accompanied by tens of airstrikes in addition to the fall of tens of shells and missiles on the clash areas since the dawn of the today, the shelling and clashes have caused casualties and injuries in the ranks of both parties, and the regime forces had advanced today in al-Bayyarat area and took control of several points there, while rocket shells launched by the “Islamic State” organization and fell on area in the village of Jeb al-Jarrah in the eastern countryside of Homs.
