Damascus bombings kill 59 persons, injure tens of others

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that it rose to 59 at least; the number of persons who were killed in the 2 explosions that hit Shaghour area in the center of the capital at the noon of Saturday the 11th of March 2017, and in detail documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the casualties were divided in 2 parts, the first part is 47 visitors and most of them are of Iraqi nationality, while the second part of them is 12 members of the gunmen loyal to the regime of Syrian nationality. Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory that the blasts took place sequentially, where an explosive device detonated near Bab al-Sghir Cemetery then the visitors from 9 buses gathered after the detonation; and that is when a person blew himself up in the gathering killing and injuring tens of them, of which 59 were confirmed dead due to both blasts, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
