After fighting against Jaysh al-Islam…fighting outbreak between the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham and al-Rahman Corps in Arbin in the Eastern Ghouta

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by several reliable sources that al-Rahman Corps raided on headquarters of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham in Arbin city in the Eastern Ghouta, while al-Rahman Corps besieged the centers and arrested about 15 members of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, which caused outbreak of clashes between the 2 parties with small arms and middle weapons, and there is tension feeling prevails the city because of these current events, and in informationthat was obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights al-Rahman Corps demanded the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham to ” dissolve itself” in the Eastern Ghouta where the most headquarters of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham are in al-Rahman Corps’ controlled areas in the Eastern Ghouta.

It with mentioning that the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham was neutral about the fighting which took place between   Jaysh al-Islam against Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham and al-Rahman Corps on the 28th of April 2017 This fighting came after one year of clashes between Jaysh al-Islam against al- Rahman Corps and Jaysh al-Fustat, of which al-Nusra front (Al-Qaeda organization in the Levant) forms its backbone, which broke out in late April 2016 and during it more than 500 fighters of both parties were killed, in addition to capturing hundreds of prisoners and injuring others in the ranks of both of them, and also killed about  10 civilians including 4 children and women and the only gynecologist in the Eastern Ghouta.
