The most violent attack by the “Islamic State” organization on the countryside of Salamiyah city in more than 2 years kills 82 persons at least and injuring tens of others

The number of casualties continues to rise as a result of the attack that was carried out by the “Islamic State” organization on Thursday the 18th of May 2017, on the countryside of Salamiyah city in the eastern countryside of Hama, which is the heaviest attack since the similar attack that took place at the end of March 2015.

Where it rose to 56 at least the number of persons who were killed in this attack in the villages of Aqareb al-Safi and al-Mab’oujeh in the northeastern countryside of Salamiyah and they are: 25 civilians including 5 children under the age of eighteen and 4 women, they were killed in shelling, shooting and executions, and 4 persons of the Bedouin, 27 of the NDF and the villager gunmen loyal to the regime, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation and others are still missing.

Also it rose to 26 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed during this violent attack on the countryside of Salamiyah, while others were also injured, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that some of the bodies of members of the organization were pulled by the gunmen loyal to the regime and the NDF forces.
