Intensive shelling on the Eastern Ghouta in an escalation violates its truce again

The truce of Eastern Ghouta is still in effect, eight days passed since the truce was put in effect in the Syrian Territory, with more violations in its areas and in the east of the capital, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented continuous shelling by the regime forces on areas in the east of Damascus and in the Eastern Ghouta, thus the number of rockets which were fired by the regime forces and targeted areas in Jobar and in Ein Tarma area; rose to 20 rockets at least, shells also fell on places in Faris Al-Khoury area in the center of Damascus, while a shell fell on an area in the outskirts of Al-Ashari Farms in the Eastern Ghouta, no reports about injuries, The Syrian Observatory documented this morning that warplanes carried out 6 raids, targeted places in the area located between the towns of Ein Tarma and Jobar neighborhood.

It’s important to mention that since the truce started till today, the Eastern Ghouta is witnessing daily renewed violations by mortar shells and artillery, and shelling by missiles believed to be land-to-land, bombing by warplanes, resulting in killing and injuring dozens of persons, in addition to clashes that are taking place from time to time between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the Islamic factions on the other, and for the targeting of the factions to locations, positions and the vehicles of the regime forces in the Eastern Ghouta.
