Shelling by the regime forces on the northern countryside of Homs and more bombing on Hama and Idlib countryside

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces shelled areas in Al-Ameriyah village in the northern countryside of Homs which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, that the explosions rocked the northern countryside of Homs, and the Syrian Human Rights Observatory learned that the explosions were caused by shelling by the regime forces on areas in Talbiseh city, which injured at least 2 persons and one of them died to his serious injury. This shelling came hours after a truce carried out by a Russian mediation, where the Syrian observatory published hours ago that it was reached a new agreement between representatives of areas in the northern countryside of Homs and representatives of the regime’s authorities, and cross-sources confirmed that the agreement took place after a meeting between these parties in the controlled areas of the regime forces, and included the agreement which stipulates a complete cessation of hostilities, escalation and shelling on 25 village and towns in the northern countryside of Homs, while information obtained about the continuation of the negotiations in order to add more areas of the northern countryside.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published previously that the Russian – Egyptian truce which was applied in the northern countryside of Homs and which started on the 3rd of August 2107, broke down on Friday the 10th of August 2017, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published then that a number of reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the truce of the northern countryside of Homs broke down because of the escalation of the violent shelling on areas there, after completing the first week of its implementation in areas in the northern countryside of Homs, where there was conflicting information about the reasons for collapsing the Russian – Egyptian truce to “decrease the level of tension and the military operations in the northern countryside of Homs”, in which parties accused the regime forces that they didn’t conform the agreement of ceasefire in the northern countryside of Homs, while other parties said that this agreement didn’t respond their demands.

The warplanes carried out raids targeted areas in Al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, in conjunction with raids on areas on Androna village in Al-Hamraa Township in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and two warplanes believed to be Russian targeted areas in Khan Shaykhun city and its vicinity in the southern countryside of Idlib, by several raids, and no information about casualties was reported, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that the number of casualties continues to rise in the countryside of Idlib, as a result of raids by warplanes that targeted several areas in the countryside of Idlib, where it rose to 9, they are 2 pregnant women, another woman and 6 children, the number of persons who were Killed in raids on al-Hamu village and places near it in Sahl al-Rouj in the countryside of Idlib, raising to 13, including 6 children and 5 women ,the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory since the midnight of the 27th of September 2017 until now in the escalating aerial bombardment on the countryside Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that it documented  that  the Russian and the regime’s warplanes has been targeting the province of Idlib and Hama within seven consecutive days with more than 1280 air raids on the cities, towns and villages of al-Latamnah, Mork, al-Janabra (al-Banna), Tel Hawash, Kafrzita, Arafa, Hazm, the vicinity of Ma’an, Atshan, Khafsin, Rabda, Umm Haratin, and Qalaat al-Madiq, in the northern and northeastern countryside of Hama, and town and villages of Saraqeb, Sheikh Sandian, Badama, Sarja, Sanjar, Maarzita, al-Fatira, Karsa’a, al-Naqeer, Abu al-Duhor, Tel Mardikh, al-Tamanah, al-Habeet, Sakik, Ma’rhatat, Jerjenaz, al-Hamidiyah, Telmans, Sinjar, Wadi al-Dayf, al-Sahriyah, Khan Shaykhon, al-Tah, Latmin, Kafnobl, al-Bara, al-Kafir, al-Zainia, Ein Zarqa, al-Shoughor, al-Nahr al-Abyad, Haloz, al-Alia, Sarmin, Termala, al-Nayrab, Om Sayr, Kafroma, and the outskirts of Jisr al-Shoughor city and other areas in Hama and Idlib.

These heavy airstrikes killed and injured tens of people, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented at least 118 casualties, including 38 children below the age of eighteen and 29 women over the age of eighteen, who were killed in airstrikes on the western villages of Jisr al-Shughour and the cities, towns and villages of Khan Shaykoun and Qal’aat al-Madiq, al-Tamanah, Kafrnboda, al-Sahriyah, al-Latmanah, Saraqeb, al-Tah, Kafrsajnah, Sarja, Dana, and the Syrian Observatory also documented at least 394 people injured with different severity, some of whom suffered permanent disabilities, others still seriously injured.
