Forces of “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation meet with their forces near Deir Ezzor city and take the control of the village of Sheikh of Al-Bakkara Clan whose clan members fight side by side with the regime forces

The “Islamic State” organization withdraws from facing the SDF to reinforce its fronts against the regime forces and the Russian forces.

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the “Islamic State” organization is continuing its withdrawal from the villages on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River and opposite to Deir Ezzor city and its north-western extension, and Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the advancement of the Syria Democratic Forces which lead “Al-Jazeera Storm” operation with this withdrawal, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the SDF managed on Monday the 9th of October 2017, to take the control of Hawayij Bo-Masa’aa and the Western Muhaymida villages, and managed to reach the house of Sheikh of Al-Bakkara Clan in Muhaymida village, who members of his clan fight side by side with the regime forces in the clashes of Deir Ezzor against the “Islamic State” organization, thus, the SDF have met with their forces located on the banks opposite Deir Ezzor city and its north-western extension, after fighting against ISIS in an number of villages, and the withdrawal of the latest from other villages.

While reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the “Islamic State” organization turned to withdraw from flaming fronts against the Syria Democratic Forces, in which the organization is concentrating its strength to face the Russian forces as well as the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the villages which the organization has controlled lately -Al-Sa’wa, Hawayij Ziab, Al-Kasra, Zughayr Jazeera, Hawayij Bo-Masa’aa and Muhaymida- witnessed successive withdrawal by the members of the organization out of them, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, that the regime forces managed to advance again after they took the control of Al-Sa’wa village in the north-western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and took the control of a new village, which is Zughayr Jazeera village, in an attempts by the SDF to achieve advancement in the area, so that they would reduce the size of areas controlled by the organization.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 27th of September 2017, that Deir Ezzor Military Council and the Kurdish Units managed to control the village of al-Kubar Jazeera, which is opposite to the area of al-Kubar Shamiyyah  which is controlled by the regime forces and was shelled by Israel ten years ago on the pretext of the presence of a nuclear reactor there, and the clashes were accompanied by an exchange of shelling between both parties, leaving confirmed human losses in their ranks, while The process of controlling the villages comes within the attempt of the SDF to end the presence of ISIS east of the Euphrates and in the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor, In which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 8th of January 2017 that an airdrop took place that afternoon, in Al-Kubar area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and which is near Madan area east of Al-Raqqah, and in the details obtained by SOHR then, 4 helicopters, believed to be related to the International Coalition, and whose nationalities are not known until now, landed in the area which is located between the villages of Al-Kubar and Al-Jazrah in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, accompanied by two warplanes in order to protect and cover the place, where a car was carrying members of ISIS was targeted, which resulted in the deaths of all those who were in the car, and the members who landed from the helicopters held blocks on the road between Al-Kubar village and the nearby Water Station, and between it and Al-Jazrah village, and the sources confirmed to SOHR then that among the members who carried out the airdrop in Al-Kubar area there were members speak Arabic, and did not expose to citizens who passed through the area at that time of the airdrop, while the airdrop’s members attacked the Water Station which is near Al-Kubar village, where members of ISIS were killed and arrested, and all the dead bodies of organization were taken by the airdrop’s members during leaving the area, and the sources confirmed that the operation took place yesterday afternoon and lasted until 4 pm, and that the planes were seen coming from the north of Syria, the operation resulted in the killing of 25 members at least of ISIS in addition to capturing of other members of the organization.
