After violent fighting against Tahrir al-Sham by the regime forces and ISIS…calm intervened by bombardment on the north-eastern countryside of Hama

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: calm returned to prevail the north-eastern countryside of Hama, in terms of fighting in its fronts, between the parties presented in the area, which fight for increasing their scope of control, this calm was intervened by morning bombardment by warplanes on areas in Al-Rahjan town which is the hometown of the Minister of Defense of the Syrian regime, Fahd Jassem al-Freij, which was out of the control of the regime forces in the middle of July 2014, in which Al-Nusra Front (Al Qaeda in the Levant) took the control of it then, in conjunction with other raids targeted Abu Dali area which used to be a link and a commercial gate between the regime’s controlled areas and the controlled areas of the opposition, before Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham took the control of it.

 

This calm came after violent clashes took place yesterday between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions, which concentrated yesterday in the vicinity of Al-Bulail, Umm Khuzaim, al-Mestriha, Abu Dali and Al-Shatib, and which accompanied by intensive aerial and artillery shelling, while violent clashes took place yesterday and lasted until after the midnight between the “Islamic State” organization against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in which Tahrir Al-Sham managed to regain the control of two villages and advance into other points and positions, where 13 members at leas of the organization were killed while 5 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed in the clashes which took place during the past hours, which is still continuing until now, and the number of casualties in the ranks of the both parties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
