The today’s death toll due to the bombardment on the besieged Ghouta continues its frenzy rise reaching 65 citizens more than half of them are children and citizen women

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the number of the civilian casualties is continuing to increase insanely in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, with extracting more bodies stuck under the rubble of the destruction, caused by the bombardment on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, which caused the highest daily death toll since the 29th of December 2017, the date of starting the escalation on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, where it has increased to 65 persons at least including 14 children and 20 citizen women, the number of the casualties whose death was documented today the 6th of February 2018, by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, and the casualties are: 23 citizens including 3 children and 11 citizen women who were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Douma city, the stronghold of Jaysh Al-Islam, 13 citizens including 4 children and 4 citizen women who were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Arbin city, 7 citizens including a child were killed in a massacre carried out in Kafr Batna town by bombardment, 5 citizens including 2 children and a woman were killed in bombardment on Mesraba town, 4 citizens including a child and a citizen woman were killed in raids on Hamuriya city, 4 citizens including 2 children and a citizen woman were killed in raids on areas in Madyara, 4 citizens including a citizen woman were killed in airstrikes on areas in Zamalka city, 3 citizens including a woman killed by bombardment by warplanes on areas in Saqba city, a child was killed in the raids by warplanes on Harasta city, and a citizen was killed in an airstrike which targeted Haza town, the bombardment also resulted in the injury of 175 citizens at least with varying severity, including tens of children and citizen women, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries and the presence of missing people under the rubble of the destruction caused by the bombardment on the Eastern Ghouta.

And with the continuation of killing the citizens besieged in the Eastern Ghouta, the death toll continues to increase, where it has increased to 354 citizens including 86 children and 68 citizen women, who have been killed since the 29th of December 2017, as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 234 citizens including 65 children, 56 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin, and 120 citizens including 21 children and 12 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Mesraba.
