With the continued military mobilization in the area… anticipations for the Russian approval for a new displacement in the last area controlled by the factions in the vicinity of the capital Damascus

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from reliable sources, about reaching an agreement in the south of Damascus, where the reliable sources confirmed to the SOHR that an agreement was reached about the part controlled by the factions in the south of the capital Damascus and the tree towns of ” Yalda, Beit Saham and Babbila”, in the southern Rif Dimashq, where the sources confirmed that the agreement provides on the withdrawal of all those who reject the agreement of the factions towards two directions, where the fighters of Ababil Hauran faction, will head towards Daraa in the Syrian South, while the rest of the factions (Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement, Jaysh Al-Islam and Sham al-Rasul Brigade) will head to the Syrian North, amid anticipations for the Russian final approval to start implementing the agreement, in order to achieve the Russian goal which is securing the capital Damascus through imposing a circle of the areas where Russia managed to organize “settlements”, all of which ended with imposing displacement on those who reject the agreement.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published last night that it monitored the continuation of mobilize operations by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in the vicinity of Yarmouk Camp in the southern part of the capital Damascus, in preparation for a military operation in the area which is mostly controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, where intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the mobilization included bringing vehicles, armored vehicles, equipment, ammunition, and members to the vicinity of the Camp, in conjunction with an alert situation in the southern neighborhoods of the capital Damascus by the “Islamic State” Organization, in preparation for a military confrontation with the regime forces, which intends to start the process immediately after Douma agreement is completed as well as the displacement of tens of thousands of fighters, their families and civilians who refused the agreement.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of April 2018 that the south of the capital Damascus is witnessing operations by both Russia and the regime, against two main opponents in two different directions and technique, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of negotiations between the Russian side and representatives of the regime on one hand, and dignitaries and representatives of towns and areas in the south of the capital and the southern Rif Dimashq, in order to reach a new “agreement” about the situation of the towns of Yalda, Beit Saham and Babbila in the south-western Rif Dimashq, and areas in the southern part of the capital Damascus, where a solution is expected to be reached about the remaining of those who accept the agreement and displacing those who reject it, handing over the arm and the return of the regime to work again in these areas with “settling” the situation of those who defaulted compulsory military service and those who are wanted by the regime and the remaining fighters in the area, the return of people displaced earlier to their homes and the rehabilitation of the area, where the talks and negotiations are taking place between the both sides to reach a final text carries items that are fully applicable, within the Russian move to secure the capital Damascus and its vicinity, and impose a circle whose main pillar is the Russian presence.

On the other hand, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of military mobilization for a bout a week in the outskirts of the southern part of the capital Damascus, where the regime forces and their allies are bringing military reinforcement of material, weapons and members to the vicinity of the organization’s controlled areas in most of Al-Kadam neighborhood, Al-Hajar al-Aswad neighborhood, most of Yarmouk Camp and large spaces of Al-Tadamon neighborhood, amid alertness by the organization, in the southern section of the capital Damascus, where a number of intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that the regime forces tended to carry out a military operation in order to take the control of Yarmouk Camp, Al-Tadamon, Al-Kadam and Al-Hajar al-Aswad, and end the presence of the organization in them, after the violent clashes witnessed in Al-Kadam neighborhood in the south of the capital since the 13th of March 2018, which enabled the organization to take the control of most of the neighborhood and killing more than 116 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, as well as injuring and capturing tens others, while it is noteworthy that the southern Rif Dimashq has witnessed calm for years, in the wake of “reconciliation” between the fighters of the three towns with the regime forces mediated by dignitaries and notables in the area, while the Russian movement aims to find a final solution for these areas, through terms intersected sources said that they are based on handing over the heavy and medium weapons and the departure of those reject the agreement from the area to destinations that are unknown until now, and Yarmouk Camp and the regime’s controlled areas in the south of the capital Damascus, have recently witnessed shelling and clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the south of Damascus.
