The violent clashes continue and the regime forces achieve further advancement in the eastern countryside of Daraa amid intensive shelling that continues on several areas in the province

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the clashes are still continuing at violent pace along with the continued attacks and shelling by the regime forces with the Russian forces on the controlled areas of the factions, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuation of the violent clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, in the eastern countryside of Daraa, within the operation of the regime forces in order to achieve further advancement and decrease the factions’ scope of control, in return for expanding their control in the province, the Syrian Observatory also learned that the regime forces managed after intensive aerial, artillery and rocket shelling and violent attack, to take the control of Alma and Al-Sorah towns, after they took the control of the towns of Rakham, Bosr Al-Harir, Maliha Al-Atash, Eastern Mleha and Western Mleha amid their advancement in Al-Hrak town in the same countryside, where they managed to advance inside the town which is witnessing with its vicinity, intensive rocket and artillery shelling and raids by Russian warplanes as well as bombardment by helicopters by explosive barrels, which caused destruction to the property of the citizens.

Also the number of casualties is continuing to increase due to the death of more citizens affected by the injury they had as a result of renewed shelling by the regime forces, where the SOHR documented the death of 2 citizens including a woman who were killed in the shelling on Nawa and the eastern countryside of Daraa, raising to 96 citizens at least including a woman and her son, in addition to 13 women and 17 children, as well as 2 members of the civil defense, the number of citizens who have been killed as a result of shelling by artillery and rocket shells and bombardment by warplanes and helicopters affiliated to the regime and Russia on Daraa countryside since the 19th of June 2018.

The Syrian Observatory published in the past few hours, that the violent bombardment have raised the displacement movement within Daraa Province, where the number of displaced people rose to about 70000 displaced people from their cities, towns, and villages as a result of this violent bombardment which has been targeting the province since the 19th of June of 2018, where some of them have displaced to areas controlled by the regime forces and to shelter centers opened yesterday by the authorities of the regime in their controlled areas in the countryside of Daraa, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published about 24 hours ago that the regime forces and after closing the roads in the face of the displaced people towards their controlled areas; have opened 2 main crossings towards their controlled areas, one of which is the Abu Kasir crossing near Dael area and the second one is Kafr Shams crossing in the northwestern countryside; for the displaced people coming from the countryside of Daraa and wish to enter areas controlled by the regime forces away of the artillery, missile, and aerial bombardment that follow them, where the regime forces opened 3 shelter centers for the displaced people in the towns of Izra’a, Jbab and Qerfah.
