The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

In a month of escalation, about 100 shells targets the northern countryside of Hama and raise to 1400, the number of shells that targeted towns and villages in this countryside

Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: al-Lataminah and other areas in the northern countryside of Hama have been undergoing heavy and continuous shelling, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces targeting by more than 95 missiles areas in al-Lataminah town and the villages of al-Bana and al-Sakhr, since after midnight of yesterday until now, where most of the bombardment targeted al-Lataminah town but no information about casualties until the moment.

Raising to about 1380, the number of artillery and rocket shells that were launched by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them to, targeting areas in the northern, northeastern, and northwestern countryside of Hama during the last 30 days, where the rocket and artillery shelling targeted the villages and towns of the northern countryside of Hama such as al-Lataminah, Hasraya, Zakat, al-Janabera “al-Bana”, M’aarkbeh, al-Sayyad, Tal Osman, Hawash, and several other areas in this countryside.

And these shelling -which was monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights- caused several casualties and wounded in the areas were the shells fell, also the intense shelling which varied between the day and the other caused more destruction in the above-mentioned villages and towns, which had previously witnessed similar and more violent shelling, which caused considerable destruction and serious material damage to the citizens’ property, infrastructure, public, and private facilities, as well as hundreds of casualties and wounded, where the shelling increases when violent clashes or major attacks erupt between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic factions.
