The regime air forces continue in committing massacres against civilians in IS-held areas in Aleppo

The number of Syrian civilians who died due to airstrikes carried out on IS- held areas in the east and northeast of Aleppo has risen to 136, where SOHR could document from July 11, to July 22, the death of 136 civilians, including 25 children, 22 women and 10 charred bodies, they all killed due to dropping at least 42 explosive barrels and containers and carrying out at least 26 raids on areas in the two cities of al- Baba and Manbej, on the towns Deir Hafer, Qbasin and Tadef as well as villages of Qaser al- Breij, Arran, Shwayrekh, al- Kyariyyah, al- Khafsa, and al- Sikkariyya. The explosive barrels and containers left 300 injuries, some of them in critical situation.

 

SOHR published yesterday that 26517 airstrikes carried out by the regime air force since 10/20/2014 until 7/21/2015, where the helicopters dropped 14393 barrel bombs on different areas in the provinces of Rif Dimashq, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, al- Hasakah, Deir Ezzor, al- Quneitera, al- Suwaydaa, Daraa, Idlib and Lattakia.

 

Meanwhile, the warplanes carried out at least 12124 raids on areas in the provinces of Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, al- Hasakah, Deir Ezzor, al- Raqqa, al- Quneitera, Daraa, al- Suwaydaa, Idlib and Lattakia.

 

On the other hand, SOHR also documented the death of 4879 civilians, including 684 women, and 1001 children, due to aerial bombardment carried out by the government warplanes and helicopters, while about 26000 other civilians were wounded and dozens of thousands displaced. The aerial bombardment also resulted in destroying public and private people’s properties as well as it left huge material damages in several areas.
