Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front arrest more than 40 people accused of “collaborating with the regime to achieve reconciliation” and others on charges of “ISIS cells”

Several areas of Idlib Province are witnessing the continuation of security operations of the major factions operating in it, in conjunction with arrests in the western countryside of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the National Liberation Front continuing arresting people accused of “communicating with the regime and belonging to ISIS cells”, where the National Liberation Front has arrested more than 35 people after the raids they have been carrying out carried out since the morning in the villages of Brisa, Tal al-Shih, al-Halba, al-Deir al-Sharqi, Tal al-Sheikh and M’eisruneh in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man city, also Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham arrested several people hours ago on charges of being “ISIS cells”, also Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham arrested 7 persons on charges of belonging to ISIS cells, one of whom was injured when the clashes outbreak between them, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the security chaos in Idlib Province of kidnappings, shootings, and assassinations is still taking place, in conjunction with security operations by military factions operating in the province in search of people accused of “belonging to ISIS and cooperating with the regime”, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Wednesday morning a raid by the factions for al-Deir al-Sharqi village located in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, in conjunction with hearing gunfire in the village, where the factions arrested a school director on charges of “collaborating with the regime”, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham raiding villages in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, near the contact lines with the regime forces and their allies, in search of people accused of “collaborating with the regime to reach reconciliations”, where several people were arrested, while the Syrian Observatory monitored gunfire exchange Marshourin town between unknown gunmen and a person, where the gunmen attempted to kill him in front of his house in the town, after which exchange of gunfire took place between both parties but no information about casualties yet.

The Syrian Observatory published last night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a group belongs to Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, raiding Al-Ghadfah village in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, where it arrested 2 relatives of one of the wanted people, and took them to an unknown destination, as a part of the arrests which target people who are accused of “cooperation with the regime and acting as cells of the Islamic State organization”, while the Syrian Observatory monitored recently extensive arrests of tens of people on charges of “cooperating with the regime for reconciliations and cells and members of the “Islamic State” organization,” and the release of a new batch of prisoners comes days after the “National Liberation Front” carried out a similar step, while the Syrian Observatory published today morning, the 19th of August 2018, that it monitored the continuation of security operations by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Idlib Province, where Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham raided early on the dawn of Sunday the areas of Salqin and Azmarin in the countryside of Idlib, accompanied by arresting several people on charges of “cooperating with the regime for reconciliations,” within the continuation of the security operation in which hundreds of people were arrested by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the “National Liberation Front” for the same charges, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuous arrests for the 17th consecutive day in the villages of Jabal Shahshabbu in the southern countryside of Idlib which extends in the northwestern countryside of Hama, the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib and other areas in the western and eastern countryside, amid more arrests on charges of “cooperating with the regime for reconciliations”.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published on the 3rd of August that  it monitored raids and arrests carried out by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham since the dawn of today, Friday, the 3rd of August 2018, in Khan Shaykhun city and Mdaya village in the southern countryside of Idlib, where Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham arrested several people within a security operation searching for “cells of the Islamic State organization” in addition to people accused of “cooperating with the regime in relation to reconciliations”, and the intersecting sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that the raids were carried out in several houses in the above-mentioned villages, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published on the 1st of August 2018, that it monitored a unity by 5 military formations, operating in the Syrian North and have been displaced to it, under the name the “National Liberation Front”, after meetings and consultations between representatives and commanders of Hayyaat Tahrir Syria, Suqour Al-Sham Brigades, Jaysh Al-Ahrar, Damascus Gathering, announcing themselves as the “core of the incoming Jaysh Al-Thawra”, while this unity announced its full military structure, and this merger comes more than two months after a previous merger under the same name, where the SOHR monitored in late May 2018, 11 factions announcing the formation of the “National Liberation Front”, where Al-Sham Corps, the 1st Coastal Division, the 2nd Coastal Division, the 1st Infantry Division, the Free Idlib Army, Jaysh al-Nasr, Jaysh al-Nukhba, the Second Army, Shuhada al-Islam (Darayya), Liwa Al-Huriyah, Division-23, announced the formation of this army in one statement announcing the launch of this new group, and the statement said: as a part of our duty to seek to unit the word of the rebel factions, and our awareness of the danger, risks and pain which Al-Sham territory suffered from, as a result of the division of theses factions, and as a correction to the past failures, and for seeking to cooperate with our brothers, in the coming responsibilities, the factions which signed this statement sought to form a new gathering under the name the “National Liberation Front”, and now we announce the birth of this new formation, and we invoke Allah to be a project that includes all revolutionary components that believes in the goals of our revolution and are devoted to its constants and seek to achieve them”.
