Clashes continue in several areas at Abu Rasin and Ayn Issa countryside, raising to about 570, the death toll of SDF, the regime forces, and the Turkish Forces and the factions loyal to them since the beginning of ” Peace Spring” Operation

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes of varying violence between the Syria Democratic Forces against Ankara-loyal factions, in areas of Mahmudiyyeh, Soda, Arisha, Abu Rasin (Zarkan), al-Qantra area, and other areas on the outskirts of Ayn Issa north of al-Raqqah city, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties, and confirmed information about more casualties, in the same context, the Turkish drones continue to target sites of the Syria Democratic Forces in Arisha village south of Tal Tamr town since yesterday evening until the moment, leaving more human casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published during the past hours that the Syria Democratic forces carried out a fierce counterattack on positions that came recently under control of the Turkish forces and their loyal factions.

Sources informed SOHR that fierce clashes are underway in the village of “Aneeq Al-Hawa” of Abu Rasin town as well as Manajir town south of Ras Al-Ayn.

In conjunction with that, the pro-Turkey factions, backed by reconnaissance drones, tried to carry out an attack with the purpose of cutting off the road between Tal Tamr and Abu Rasin.

SOHR also learned that a drone targeted positions of SDF in Arisha village south of Tal Tamr town, which resulted in the injury of 10 fighters with varying severity, in addition to the destruction of their positions.

In this context, the Turkish forces attacked the areas of Tal Al-Ward and Tal Mohamed, where they used different kinds of heavy weapons and tanks’ shells.

SDF resisted the Turkish attack by shelling positions of the Turkish forces and their loyal factions by heavy weapons.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on Wednesday afternoon have risen to 295. The SOHR also documented the death of 24 members of the regime forces as a result of a missile targeting by the Turkish-backed factions on the areas of north-west of Manbij and the east of Ayn Issa town in positions of the regime forces’ deployment. Meanwhile, the number of deaths among Syrian factions loyal to Ankara and the pro-Turkey cells killed in the attacks and clashes against the SDF during the same period reached 240, including 21 of the cells loyal to Ankara killed in clashes with the SDF, in addition to 10 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battels, amid information about more dead Turks on the Turkish-Syrian border, and the number of those killed is likely to rise due to the high number of wounded, some of them in serious cases.
