Audio recording of al-Baghdadi before the defeat of ISIS: If our fighters had fought like the Iraqis, we would not have been defeated… And men of the State didn’t stand by me… And the people were divided because of fatwas and apostates

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained from reliable sources, an audio recording of the former ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, it was recorded in September 2018 and was sent to the group’s cells in Deir Ezzor, and according to reliable sources, the audio recording was found during a raid by the Syria Democratic Forces on headquarters of an ISIS cell in September 2018, and after examining the audio recording it turned out that the speaker was Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

And according to the audio recording, al-Baghdadi threw the blame on members of the “Islamic State” organization for the heavy losses that the Organization suffered, adding: “If they had fought like Iraqis in the ranks of the Organization, all of this would not have happened, but the men of the State didn’t stand by me, and the people were divided because of the fatwas of takfir, apostates, and those who pretend to be loyalists, so the people were preoccupied with matters of the life and denigrating others for money, Allah suffices me, for He is the best disposer of affairs.” And in the background of al-Baghdadi’s voice, his followers and helpers speak in an attempt to calm him down saying: “the State of Islam survives, may ALLAH curse them in this life and in the afterlife.”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed on the 27th of October 2019 that it learned that the 8 helicopters that took-off from “Sarin” airport in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) city; are the helicopters that carried out the attack on leader of the “Islamic State” Organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi early this morning.

Sources of the Syrian Observatory said that “the 8 helicopters took-off from “Sarin” airport in a straight line between the Turkish – Syrian border, over Jarabulus city, al-Rai, Azaz, Afrin, until Idlib countryside in Barisha village”. The sources added: “there is information that the anti-terrorism forces of the Syria Democratic Forces intelligence participated in the operation, also 3 of the 8 helicopters were carrying members of the anti-terrorism forces of the SDF, they also mainly participated in the raids and in carrying out the operation of targeting al-Baghdadi, amid a secrecy about their participation due to the Turkish sensitivities towards the participation of SDF forces in the operation.

And according to information obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the remains of al-Baghdadi’s body after he blew himself up were transferred to the Iraqi base, “Ayn al-Assad”, and the SOHR also revealed the killing of ISIS members, 35 persons, where the ISIS spokesman Abu al-Hassan al-Muhajir, is believed to be among them.
