Regime, Russian warplanes pounding Idlib with nearly 100 airstrikes

Heavy presence of regime and Russian ‘guarantor’ aircraft over Idlib province, where they consecutivly bombed various areas of southern, eastern and south-eastern rural Idlib with dozens of strikes.

The number of air raids carried out by Russian aircraft, on Wednesday, increased to 42, during which areas in Ma’rat al-Numan, Deir Al-Sharqi, Dadikh, Khan al-Subol, Talmenas, Masarat, Ma’ar shmasha, Maar shorin, Hamdiah, Haretmiyah, Tal Karsiyan, Sheikh Idris and the frontlines east of Idlib were all targeted.

Regime warplanes also targeted with more than 33 air strikes, places in Kafr Ruma, Abu Jreif, Harsh Binin, Al Bara, Sheikh Ahmed, Ariha city, Kafrnbel, Kattlana, Sheikh Idris, Mantaf and Idlib city, seven civilians were injured.

While regime helicopters dropped 24 barrel-bomb on Kafr Ruma, Abu Jreif, Benin, Ma’rat al-Numan and Shenan. The number of rocket-propelled grenades and artillery shells fired by regime forces rose to 375 on rural Idlib on Wednesday.

These air and ground bombardments were also accompanied by clashes on Abu Jreif frontline east of Al-Maara, took place between regime forces and loyalists on one hand, and opposition factions and jihadist groups on the other, in an attempt by the rebels to advance in the area.
