Clashes on Damascus – Homs highway and shelling targets the eastern outskirts of the capital

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Violent clashes are taking place since shortly after midnight yesterday in Damascus – Homs highway area in the Eastern Ghouta, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on against the Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in an attempt by the first mentioned to advance in the area, accompanied by exchanged shelling and targeting between both parties, no information about casualties yet.

The regime forces continued until after midnight yesterday launching missiles believed to be ground-to-ground targeting areas in Qaboun neighborhood and other places in the eastern outskirts of the capital.
