Massacre of Urum al-Jawz claims the lives of 20 Syrians and raids continue and cause casualties and injuries in the countryside of Idlib

 

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
It rose to 20 at least including 5 children and 2 women, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in a massacre carried out by warplanes believed to be Russian on Saturday the 8th of April 2017, by targeting areas in Urum al-Jawz area in southwest of Ariha city in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, while a person at least was killed and others were injured in bombing by 2 warplanes on areas in Maarrat al-Nu’man city south of Idlib province, also warplanes carried out several raids on areas in Frikeh village in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, no information about injuries, while it rose to 8, the number of airstrikes carried out by warplanes on the highway located north of Khan Shaykhun city, they targeted the area with anti-personnel and anti-armor missiles and caused material damage, no information about casualties yet, also warplanes targeted using several anti-personnel and anti-armor missiles areas in the town of al-Hbit the southern countryside of Idlib, no information about injuries.
