After 48 hours of targeting a warplanes in the eastern countryside, ISIS target another helicopter in the western countryside

Deir Ezzor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that the organization of the “Islamic State” managed to hit a helicopter, whether it belong to the regime or Russia is not known, while it was flying in the skies of the Shamitia in the western countryside of the city of Deir Ezzor, on The western banks of the Euphrates River, while it is still unknown so far the fate of the crew of the warplane.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it learned that a warplane was targeted in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that a warplane (which is not known whether it was a warplane of the regime forces or a Russian warplane) was targeted by members of the “Islamic State” organization using anti-aircraft guns in the sky of Al-Boleel area on the western banks of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the smoke was seen coming out of the warplane after being hit while it was falling on regime forces’ controlled areas in Deir Ezzor province, and the fate of the pilot is still unknown.

It worth mention that Muhassan city which is located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor city, had witnessed in the middle of August 2012 the first drop of a warplane, where it was targeted by the factions who used to operate in the area. Muhassan is adjacent to Al-Boleel town, and the regime forces in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor city and its suburbs are trying to advance towards the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor at the western banks of the Euphrates River.
