Pictures by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights show a demonstration in al-Shannan village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, demanding the release of detainees arrested by security forces in al-Omar field area, and demanding to hold the corrupted civilians and militaries accountable and providing services to the village and all the area, and holding personnel accountable in the oil industry of who are taking bribes and stealing oil, and the demonstration coincided with other demonstrations in Darnaj, al-Tayyana, Jammeh, and al-Jerthi in the eastern sector of Deir Ezzor countryside
