In vague motives and goals, intelligence of Assad’s regime brings tens of detainees and prisoners to the SDF-controlled areas

The same sources added that the tens of people who were sent by the regime forces are of those who were arrested at varying periods of time who are from Deir Ezzor and its countryside, al-Hasakah, and al-Raqqah, and many of them are suffering memory loss after the torture they were subjected to in regime’s vaults, where the regime forces gave them ID documents and addresses of their homes before sending them to SDF areas, but no information yet about the goals of the regime of this move, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 28th of April 2019 that reliable sources denied to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights the authenticity of the news promoted by media outlets close to the regime, Russia and Turkey about the advancement of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them into several kilometers at the expense of the Syria Democratic Forces in the countryside of Al-Raqqah province, and the Syrian Observatory learned from the same sources the details of what happened in the area yesterday evening, Friday, where groups of the regime forces which is in control of J’eidin village in the countryside of Al-Tabqa city, have advanced into 500 meters within the contact area that separates between their controlled areas and the SDF-controlled areas there, followed by the flight of the International Coalition’s warplanes over the area, then the groups which had advanced, withdrew to their positions in J’eidin, it is noteworthy that this area witnessed the shooting down of a warplane affiliated to the regime forces by the International Coalition.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 18th of June 2017, that clashes continue with violent pace between the regime forces and their Syrian and non-Syrian allied militiamen on one hand and ISIS on the other in areas in the southern countryside of Al-Raqqah city. The regime forces managed to take control of Al-Resafa city located at Salamiyah- Al-Raqqah road about 40 km away south of Al-Raqqah city. Clashes were accompanied by intensive shelling by the regime forces, which forced ISIS to withdraw. The regime then started inspecting the entire city to ensure that no ISIS members, of those who refused to withdraw, were hiding. With such advancement, the SDF and the regime forces became so close to the waterline extending from the Euphrates, between Al-Bu’aasi and Shu’ayb Al-Thakar in the western countryside of Al-Tabqa, to Al-Resafa – Al-Raqqah road.
