More than 600 air and rocket strikes are the outcome of 7 hours of bombardment on the “de-escalation” zone, in conjunction with decline in the pace of clashes in the north-western countryside of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of an 18-year-old boy as a result of rocket shelling by the regime forces on areas in Ma’aret Hurmah town in the northern countryside of Hama, while the SOHR documented the death of 26 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them who were killed in clashes against the factions and the jihadi groups in the north-western countryside of Hama, 5 of whom were killed in the explosion of a booby trapped vehicle in Kafr Nabudah town, the SOHR also documented the death of 18 fighters of the factions and jihadists in the same clashes including a fighter who blew himself up using a booby trapped vehicle in Kafr Nabudah, while the Syrian Observatory monitored that the pace of clashes declined in the area of Kafr Nabudah, Al-Mughayr, Tal Hawash and Al-Huwayz between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the jihadi groups and rebel and Islamic factions.

With regarding to the aerial bombardment, it rose to 32, the number of raids by the regime’s warplanes they are: 8 raids on Al-Hbit, 6 on Khan Shaykhun, and 2 raids on each of Arinbah, Maarat Al-Sin, Al-Amiriyeh, Kafr Sajna, Abdeen, Al-Sahriyeh, Hish and Al-Nqir, while the helicopters dropped more barrel bombs on areas in Abdeen and Al-Hbit, bringing their number to 16, they are: 4 barrels on Qasabiyeh, 4 on Abdeen, 4 on Al-Hbit, 2 on Mughr Al-Hentah and 2 on Mughr Al-Hamam, and the Russian warplanes also carried out 8 raids they are: 2 raids on each of Qasabiyeh, Mughr Al-Hamam, al-Rashideen area and IKARDA area south of Aleppo, and about the ground shelling, the regime forces targeted by more than 530 artillery and rocket shells, areas in Kafr Zita and Al-Lataminah town and the villages of Al-Arba’in and Al-Zakah in the northern countryside of Hama, as well as the towns and villages of Shahrnaz, Al-Sahriyeh, Midan Ghazal, Deir Sembul, Hawija, Al-Ankawi, Al-Zaqum and Al-Duqmaq in the north-western countryside of Hama, and Khan Shaykhun city and the villages of Marat Matr, Ma’aret Hurmah and Armanaya in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with shelling by the factions using Grad missiles on areas in Al-Suqaylabiyah town in the western countryside of Hama, which is inhabited mostly by Christian citizens.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 561, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, and they are: 180 civilians including 38 children and 41 citizen women, and they are 44 including 13 children and 12 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 25 including 7 women and a child girl were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 55 including 12 women, 11 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 35 people including 6 women and 2 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 21 citizens including 10 children and 3 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 194 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 187 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the heaviest continuous escalation on its 31st day, to 714 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 21st of May 2019, they are 230 civilians including 51 children and 52 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 25 civilians casualties including 10 children and 4 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 212 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 253 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today, the 21st of May 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1090 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 468 civilians including 121 children under the age of eighteen and 110 woman over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 49 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 9 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 300 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 163 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 342 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 1320 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 549 civilians including 153 children and 122 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 52 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 347 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 178 of the “Jihadi” fighters and 23 fighters of Jaysh al-Izza, who were killed in ambushes and clashes including a commander at least, they were killed in ambushes and attack by the regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, and 424 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
