Despite the intensity of the aerial bombardment by the Russians and the regime…the factions and jihadi groups advance again into the north-west of Hama and take the control of large parts of a strategic town and continue to block Al-Suqaylabiyah – Muhradah Highway

Areas in the north-western countryside of Hama province are witnessing ongoing violent battles between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them backed by Russia on one hand, against the rebel and Islamic factions and the jihadi groups on the other, where the factions and jihadi groups managed to impose their control over vast parts of the strategic town of Al-Jalmah, in the frame of the second attack by the factions on it which has been continuing since yesterday, after the failure of the first attack on Friday evening,  while the violent clashes are still continuing between the both parts in the western areas of Al-Jalmah in an attempt by the regime forces to regain the lead while the factions aim to impose their full control over the town, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored dense smoke covers the far southern countryside of Idlib and both northern and north-western countryside of Hama as a result of igniting tens of rubber tires by the factions in an attempt to disrupt warplanes, the violent clashes are also accompanied with exchange of rocket shelling by tens of shells and missiles since today’s dawn, amid intense raids by the Russian and the regime’s warplanes on the clash areas, and the SOHR documented more human losses against the backdrop of the continued battles and bombardment, where 8 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them were killed, in addition to the death of 5 others of the factions and the jihadi groups, thus, it rose to 228, the number of those who have been killed since the start of the attack by the factions and jihadi groups in Thursday’s afternoon, the 6th of June 2019, in the north-western countryside of Hama accompanied by heavy air and ground strikes, they are: 126 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 102 fighters including 42 of the rebel and Islamic factions including Abdul Baset al-Sarout, the commander in Jaysh al-Izza.

In the same context, the helicopters dropped barrel bombs today morning on the outskirts of Kafr Nabudah town and Al-Zakah village in the northern countryside of Hama, also the regime’s warplanes carried out 35 airstrikes through which they targeted Al-Lataminah, Hasraya, Murak, Kafr Zita, Jibbin and Tal Melh in the northern countryside of Hama, in addition to the clash areas north-west of Hama, and Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib, while the warplanes of the Russian guarantor carried out today morning, more than 21 raids on the clash areas north-west of Hama, and Tal Melh, Jibbin, Hasraya and Kafr Zita in the northern and north-western countryside of Hama, while the regime forces have targeted separated areas in Jabal Shashabo, the clash areas north-west of Hama, and the northern countryside of Hama by atleast 380 artillery and rocket shells since yesterday after the midnight, also the factions targeted by heavy shells and missiles, the towns of Qasabiyeh and Kafr Nabudah which areas under the control of the regime forces in the southern countryside of Idlib and the northern countryside of Hama.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1361, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 8th of June 2019, and they are: 361 civilians including 87 children and 77 citizen women, and they are 49 including 15 children and 16 women, another woman and two of her children, were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 36 including 8 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 198 including 41 women, 52 children, and a member of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 55 people including 8 women and 6 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 23 citizens including 10 children and 4 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, while at least 550 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling, in addition to the killing of 450 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll rises in the  heaviest continuous escalation on its 49th day, to 1511 people in the period since the morning of the 20th of April 2019, until the 8th of June 2019, they are 411 civilians including 101 children and 85 women, were killed in the Russian air bombardment and regime forces’ shelling on areas in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia, and Idlib, including 27 civilian casualties including 10 children and 5 citizen women were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions on Aleppo city, al-Hadir town south of Aleppo, al-Khandeq village, and al-Suqaylabiyah town in Hama countryside, and 19 people were killed in the explosion of a truck loaded with high-explosive materials owned by the jihadi groups in Jisr al-Shughur city west of Idlib, and 565 of the jihadi groups and the factions were killed in attacks and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and 516 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in attacks by the jihadi groups on several areas of the demilitarized area.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 8th of June 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 1890 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 649 civilians including 171 children under the age of eighteen and 141 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 51 people including 16 children under the age of eighteen and 10 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 636 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 412 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 605 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 2119 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 729 civilians including 201 children and 153 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 53 people including 16 children and 8 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 703 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 427 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 687 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
