The areas of north-west of Hama witness exchange of ground shelling between the factions and regime forces amid renewed raids that target the “de-escalation” zone
It rose to 14, the number of casualties whose death was documented today by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights within the “Putin – Erdogan” area, they are: 8 citizens from 2 families ( a man, his wife and 2 of his children, and another man, his wife and 2 of his children) who were killed in a massacre carried out by the Russian warplanes by targeting agricultural lands in the vicinity of Khan Shaykhun south of Idlib, a man and a woman and her fetus who had been displaced previously, were killed due to bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Kafriya village east of Idlib, 2 citizens were killed after the regime forces targeted the place where they work in an agricultural land in the vicinity of Al-Jisat village north of Hama, a child girl was killed in ground shelling by the regime forces on Al-Zakah village north of Hama, , and a citizen died affected by the injury he had due to earlier aerial bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Kafr Nubl town in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded.
In the same context, the aerial and ground bombardment is still continuing on the 75th day of the fiercest escalation, where the regime’s warplanes carried out raids on IKARDA area south of Aleppo, amid targeting by heavy machineguns to places in Al-Lataminah and the outskirts of Murak north of Hama, while the factions targeted by missiles, positions of the regime forces in Hayalin village in the western countryside of Hama, without information about casualties so far.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 2466, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 13th of July 2019, and they are: 643 civilians including 168 children and 131 citizen women, and they are 77 including 24 children and 21 women, and 2 of the civil defense were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 57 including 14 women and 10 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 379 including 100 children, 70 women, and 4 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 84 people including 15 women and 11 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 45 citizens including 19 children and 10 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Kernaz, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 945 of the jihadi groups were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s shelling including 606 of the Jihadis, in addition to the killing of 878 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 12th of July 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 2993 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 930 civilians including 250 children under the age of eighteen and 195 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 73 people including 25 children under the age of eighteen and 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1031 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 651 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1034 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 3224 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1011 civilians including 278 children and 209 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 75 people including 25 children and 15 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1098 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 665 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1115 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
