Regime military security services raid Jiroud town searching for weapons reportedly buried by former opposition factions

Rif Dimashq Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that forces of the regime “military security services” carried out a campaign of raids and inspection, targeting a number of houses and farms in Jiroud town in the eastern Qalamoun.

According to SOHR sources, regime intelligence claimed that the campaign came after information reported about the presence weapons depots that were buried by opposition factions during their control on the town.

The campaign focused on the Al-Mashfa street and 16th street. The raiding forces also stormed farmlands on the town’s outskirts.

After hours of raids and inspection, the “military security services” left the area as they have not find any weapons.
