Turkish forces and their proxies renew rocket attacks on village west of Ain Issa

Syrian Observatory activists say that Turkish forces and their proxies fired several rockets on Al-Dabas village, west of Ain Issa town on the M4 highway. The area is controlled by SDF and regime forces.

Turkish forces also targeted electricity workers while they were doing maintenance and repairing power towers which sustained damage in yesterday’s shelling.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored artillery fire by Turkish forces and proxy factions targeted the villages of Hawshan and Debs on M4 highway, west of Ain Issa township.

SOHR sources reported earlier that day that clashes are underway between Turkish-backed factions and Syria Democratic Forces, following an attack by the factions on frontline of Hawashana village in Ain Issa countryside, north of Al-Raqqah city. It is worth noting that SDF repelled the factions’ attack.

Separately, a military commander of the Turkish-backed faction “Suleiman Shah” was killed with another fighter after targeting his vehicle with a rocket fired by SDF.
