IED attacks | IED explosion targets drug dealer in Daraa countryside

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening an explosion of an improvised explosive device (IED) in Al-Karak area in Daraa al-Balad, targeting the vehicle of a drug dealer in the area and working for regime’s 4th Division. No casualties have been reported.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 439 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 283 persons, 62 of whom are civilians, including six women and four children, in addition to 154 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

45 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
