Backed by International Coalition forces | SDF arrests seven ISIS members near the Iraqi border

SOHR sources say that SDF, backed by International Coalition Forces, carried out a security campaign in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor near the Iraqi border, arresting seven ISIS cells in the village of Albu Hamda in town of Al-Dahshisha.

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that the SDF and International Coalition forces prepared this morning for a huge security campaign in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

SDF has mobilized hundreds of its members in al-Busayrah and Soor, east of Deir ez-Zor, as well as Al-Omar oil field. SDF members deployed in the villages of northern Deir ez-Zor countryside on the eastern side of Al-Khabur River, preventing movement between these villages. According to Syrian Observatory sources, the campaign will be concentrated in the north-eastern desert of Deir ez-Zor.

On May 28, reliable sources informed SOHR that the International Coalition carried out an airdrop in Jadeed Ekaydat village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, arresting four ISIS members, believed to be Iraqis.
