West of Manbij | Clashes with heavy weapons erupt between forces of Manbij Military Council and Turkish-backed factions
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored this evening an exchange of fire with heavy weapons between the SDF’s Manbij Military Council and Turkish-backed factions, on the frontline of the village of Al-Yashli, west of Manbij. No casualties have been reported.
On June 12, Turkish-backed factions targeted positions of the Manbij Military Council and regime forces in the village of Al-Tokhar, north-east of Manbij.
The SDF’s Manbij Military Council shelled the positions of the factions, responding to their excesses. No casualties were reported.
