New assassination | Unidentified gunmen assassinate soldier in 4th Division, west of Daraa

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a soldier in the groups of 4th Division in the town of Jileen, west of Daraa, killing him instantly.

It is worth nothing that the victim got his status settled in Daraa and joined the ranks of the regime’s 4th Division.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 520 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 345 persons, 85 of whom are civilians, including seven women and seven children, in addition to 169 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

56 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 19 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 16 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
