Al-Raqqa | West of Tal Abyad witnesses military movements of Turkish forces and proxy factions, and regime forces reinforce their presence on opposite side

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored today military movements of Turkish forces and prox factions near the village of Qazali, west of the city of Tal Abyad in northern Raqqa province. No confirmed information has been reported about the destination of those forces.

Meanwhile, 20 buses carrying regime forces and loyalists arrived in the northern city of Ain Issa.

On June 28, SOHR sources reported that military reinforcement of regime forces entered the city of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, consisting of about 50 vehicles, including buses and vehicles carrying soldiers, along with Russian armoured vehicles.

Reliable sources told SOHR that Russian forces lowered the Russian flag fixed on Ain Issa military base in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The reasons behind this action have yet to be known whether the Russians intend to withdraw from the area or there is another reason.
