Security chaos in Daraa | Assassination attempt on civilian in Tafas, and another kidnapped in Al-Gariya Al-Sharqiya

Daraa governorate- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen on motorcycles assassinated this evening a civilian in the town of Tafas in Daraa countryside.

The security chaos continues in various forms throughout the province, where unknown persons kidnapped a civilian in the town of Al-Ghariya Al-Sharqiya and took him to an unknown destination.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored earlier the kidnapping of a civilian in the town of Saham al-Golan by unidentified gunmen in a car. 

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 586 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 385 persons, 104 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 11 children, in addition to 181 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

61 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 19 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 19 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
