Deteriorating security | Unknown assailants attack vehicle of the 4th Division in western Rif Dimashq
Reliable sources have told the Syrian Observatory that unknown gunmen opened fire using machineguns on a car with two members of the 4th Division in it, in Bait Jinn area in Jabal Al-Haramoun in western Rif Dimashq. The attack resulted in the injury of the two members, one of whom sustained serious injuries. It is worth noting that the 4th Division is led by Maher Al-Assad, the Syrian president’s brother.
On July 18, A person was killed and another one was injured because of the explosion of two IEDs near Anas Ibn Malek mosque in Nahr Aysha area in the capital, Damascus. The identity of the killed person remained unknown whether being a civilian or a soldier.
