Tal Tamr | Two SDF fighters killed in brief infiltration operation into positions of Turkish-backed factions

SOHR activists have documented the killing of two SDF members, during infiltrating operation into positions of Turkish-backed factions, with the purpose of planting landmines on Abboush-Aniq Al-Hawa frontline in Tal Tamr countryside in northern Al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR sources, the two fighters were killed, while they were pulling out after they had accomplished their task and planted the landmines. However, it is not known if they were killed in landmine explosions or shot dead by Turkish-backed militiamen. It is worth noting that the fighters’ bodies remained on the frontlines separating areas under the control of SDF and regime forces from areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions, until SDF managed to recover them a few hours later.
