“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces target rural Aleppo and Idlib, as unidentified reconnaissance drone flies over Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a frequent flight by an unidentified drone over the border area with the Iskenderun region, west of Idlib province.

On the other hand, regime forces fired flares at al-Ruwayha frontline, south of Idlib, coinciding with heavy machine gun attacks on factions’ positions there.

A flare was also fired at the frontline of the town of Afis, northwest of Saraqeb.

Meanwhile, regime forces and loyal militias targeted the frontlines of kafr Aleppo town, but no casualties have been reported so far.

SOHR sources said earlier that the operation room of “al-Fath al-Mubin” killed a soldier of the regime forces and injured another, believed to be an officer, on frontline of Bala village in western Aleppo province.

On the other hand, a reconnaissance drone, , believed to be Iranian, dropped more than ten bombs on the factions’ positions on frontlines with regime forces in Jabal al-Zawiya and the town of Al-Bara in southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored Russian jets flying this morning over Idlib province, along with executing two airstrikes on the area between Idlib city and Sheikh Yousef village. However, no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, “Ansar Al-Islam” faction fired several rockets on regime positions in Al-Mashari’ area in Sahl Al-Ghab.

Moreover, a civilian died affected by his injuries he had a few days in regime rocket fire on Ariha area in southern Idlib.
