Ceasefire violations | Rebel shelling on regime positions in Sahl Al-Ghab interrupts tense calm in “de-escalation zone”

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored tense calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” interrupted by regime shelling on Idlib countryside, along with exchange of shelling between regime forces and opposition factions on frontlines of Idlib and Hama countryside.

Meanwhile, opposition factions fired several mortars on regime positions on Beit Hasano frontlines in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama province. However, no casualties have been reported.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning renewed rocket attacks on the “de-escalation zone” in the early hours of Saturday morning, after hours of tense calm. Regime forces shelled positions in Ihsim, Al-Bara, Al-Fterah, Kanssafra, Sfuhen and Fulayfel in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. Meanwhile, opposition factions shelled regime positions in Hazarin, Kafr Nubl and Al-Malajeqa in southern Idlib. However, no casualties were reported.
