Al-Hasakah | Motorcycle-bomb explodes nearby Al-Qamishly, injuring two YPG members

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Two members of the SDF-backed People’s Protection Units (YPG) sustained injuries in the explosion of a motorcycle-bomb this evening at “Norouz” square, near Hemo town in the surrounding areas of Al-Qamishly city. The explosion also caused material damage.

On October 1, SOHR sources reported hearing a loud explosion nearby Al-Shaddadi city in the south of Al-Hasakah province. The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED, planted earlier by unknown individuals, in the gas pipeline linking between the gas plant in Al-Shaddadi city and Markada city. The explosion caused large fires and considerable material damage, but no casualties were reported.

On September 28, SOHR sources said that one person was injured seriously in the explosion of a grenade thrown by an unknown assailant on a motorcycle near the Assyrian church roundabout in the SDF-held city of al-Hasakah.
