Mass graveyard | Remnants of 26 bodies of al-Sh’aytat people retrieved in rural Deir Ezzor, after executed by ISIS in 2014

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that the charity of “Al-Sh’aytat Martyrs” managed, with the help of residents, to retrieve the remnants of 26 bodies belonging to young males and men of al-Sh’aytat executed with hundreds others of the same tribe by ISIS six years ago.

According to SOHR sources, a mass graveyard was discovered in the desert of Jammah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor with the remnants of 26 persons whose identities have been recognized.

It is worth noting that ISIS executed a massacre against the people of al-Sh’aytat tribe, when it was controlling Deir Ezzor in 2014, where over 930 young males and men were executed.
