Security chaos | Unknown gunmen blow up IED near the house of a person in eastern Deir Ezzor for “refusing to pay zakat”

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: An IED exploded this evening near the house of the director of Jadid Ekaydat  hospital in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, but no casualties have been reported.

According to SOHR sources, unknown gunmen believed to be ISIS cells threatened, a week ago, the hospital’s director of killing, unless he paid “zakat”, but he refused at that time.

SOHR activists documented earlier today the death of a civilian in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after being shot by unknown gunmen on a motorcycle.

While on November 11, Observatory sources confirmed that ISIS members beheaded a man in public in Al-Tajiki village in rural Deir Ezzor, then they left saying “Allah Akbar” (Allah is the Greatest) so many times. It is worth noting that the victim was from Al-Hajanah village in Deir Ezzor countryside.
