Al-Hasakah | Child dies of his wounds sustained in grenade explosion in local market

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the death of a child affected by the wounds he sustained, on January 2, in the explosion of a grenade thrown by an NDF member during an altercation in Al-Ommal market in Al-Hasakah city. Accordingly, the number of fatalities have risen to two civilians.

 

On January 2, SOHR sources documented the death of a civilian and injury of more than 25 others, including women and children, as a result of an attack by a member of the “National Defence Forces” who threw a grenade on a patrol of the “criminal security service” in Felastin street in the security zone, which is under the control of regime forces in Al-Hasakah city.
