Security chaos in northern rural Aleppo | Ankara-backed forces detonate two IEDs, and arrest three people in Azaz city

SOHR sources say that the Turkish-backed police arrested three people, while trying to enter the city of Azaz in northern Aleppo countryside, with IEDs in their possession.

On the other hand, Azaz Intelligence branch detonated two IEDs at the entrance to the city of Azaz, which is controlled by the Ankara-backed factions in northern Aleppo, where the area is witnessing a significant escalation of security chaos through successive explosions in various Turkish-backed areas in Aleppo countryside in the last days.

Two days ago, the body of a young man was found with gunshot wounds at head on a street near the market of Azaz city, while a paper note was left next to the body read “to everyone tempted to messes with the liberated areas and risks the lives of innocent civilians through bombings, assassinations and spying for the terrorists of ISIS, PKK and the criminal regime…this terrorist carried out several terrorist operations and bombings in the librated areas…Saraya Al-Majd.”

According to local sources, the body belonged to one of the perpetrators of explosions in areas under the control of Turkish-backed factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and he had been executed earlier and his body was dumped in the street.

On January 31, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of seven civilians, including two little girls and two women, as a car-bomb exploded near the cultural centre in northern city of Azaz.
