Ceasefire violations | Clashes erupt on frontlines of Idlib countryside and regime forces shell villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

SOHR sources have reported sporadic clashes with heavy and medium weapons between opposition factions and regime forces on the frontlines of Al-Ruwayha village in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

On the other hand, regime forces shelled, with heavy artillery, rebel positions in the surrounding areas of Al-Bara and several other positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside and Sahl Al-Ghab frontlines in the north-western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported exchange of fire with heavy machineguns and shells between regime forces and opposition factions on the frontlines of Al-Amaqiyah in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Al-Bara, Sfuhen, Al-Faterah, Fulayfel, the outskirts of Al-Bara and Bayanin in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported.

 

SOHR activists also monitored frequent flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the region.
