Large-scale campaign of arrests | Regime security services arrest several settled-status members in northern Daraa countryside

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources from the south of Syria have reported that the regime’s security services, including the branches of State Security and Political Security, are carrying out a large-scale raid in the town of Kafr Nasij in the northern countryside of Daraa.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the regime’s security services are targeting former members of opposition factions, who have struck reconciliation deals after the regime took control of the area, arresting three settled-status members and the campaign continues.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored today an assassination attempt on a collaborator with the 4th Division in eastern Daraa countryside, where unknown assailants opened fire on him in the town of Al-Musifra, injuring him.

It is worth noting that the targeted person is recruiting young men for the 4th Division. Meanwhile, an IED exploded in a car in the town of Al-Harak, east of Daraa, but no casualties have been reported.
