Idlib | HTS arrests two members of jihadists “Huras al-Din” organisation near the border with Iskenderun region

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that a military force belonging to the HTS arrested today two people from the jihadist organization “Huras al-Din”, as part of the HTS’ ongoing security campaigns against “Huras al-Din”. The arrest took place in the market of Batbo town in northern Idlib countryside near the border with the Iskenderun region.

On March 3 SOHR sources reported that the HTS arrested three jihadists for belonging to the “Huras al-Din” organization from the town of Kelli in northern countryside of Idlib province.

On February 28, a group of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham stormed several houses in Kelley town in Idlib countryside, arresting two displaced non-Syrian young men for “belonging to Hurras Al-Din organization”, while their fate remained unknown.

A day earlier, reliable sources informed SOHR that Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested two members of the “Islamic Party of Liberation”, including a non-Syrian, in Kelley town in northern Idlib. Meanwhile, HTS amassed its troops in Deir Hassan town in northern Idlib in order to storm several houses and arrest suspects affiliated to “Hurras al-Din” organization which swore allegiance to al-Qaida.
