Aleppo | Turkish forces renew bombardment on northern countryside, along with clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported clashes with medium and heavy weapons between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontline of al-Deghelbash village in the west of al-Bab city in east Aleppo countryside.

 

On the other hand, Turkish forces renewed their bombardment on Kurdish positions in Ain Daqnah village, along with shelling the perimeter of Menagh military airbase in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties have been reported.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled, with heavy weapons, the Kurdish-controlled villages of Bainah and Sawaghnah in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, and Mar’anaza and Oqaybah in Sharan district in northern Aleppo. No casualties were reported.

 

SOHR activists had reported that three rockets hit Al-Sena’a neighbourhood in Afrin city in the north-western countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions, but no casualties were reported. It is not known if the rockets were fired by regime forces or Kurdish forces stationed in several areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
