Ceasefire violations | Regime forces and rebels trade fire on frontlines of south Idlib countryside

SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” have reported rocket attacks by regime forces in the early hours of Friday morning, which targeted positions in al-Fterah, Shnan, Sarjeh, Fulayfel and Bayanin in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, opposition factions fired several rockets on regime positions on Hazarin frontline in the southern countryside of Idlib, but no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that regime forces fired a guided missile on a civil car on the road between Maarrat al-Na’saan and Katyan villages in the east of Taftnaz in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib. The attack left a woman dead and three other people injured.

SOHR sources reported earlier in the morning that a member of “Jaysh al-Ahrar” was killed, while three others were injured, after regime forces targeted their military post on Maarrat al-Na’saan frontline in northern Idlib with a rocket. On the other hand, rebel factions fired a guided missile on a regime mechanised digger while erecting soil barriers on the frontline of al-Bawabiyyah village in the western countryside of Aleppo.
